Over the past week, the national average cost of gas showed minimal movement, declining by two cents to $3.07 per gallon. According to AAA, this minor shift is attributed to unremarkable figures in both the cost of oil and gasoline demand. Georgia’s statewide average stands at $2.95 per gallon, reflecting a 3-cent decrease from last week, a 7-cent decrease from last month, and a 7-cent increase from last year.
Meanwhile, pump prices in the Savannah and Hinesville-Fort Stewart Metropolitan Areas have remained relatively stagnant over the past month, holding steady at $3.11 and $3.06, respectively.
