Month of the Sweet Tooth, Top Ten Halloween Candies

According to the National Retail Federation, Americans are estimated to spend over $3 billion dollars on Halloween sweets this year. 

Swedish Fish, promoted as the “#1 Fish Shaped Candy in the World,” is Georgia’s favorite Halloween candy, according to CandyStore.com sales data.

The most popular Halloween treats in the United States, according to CandyStore.com reports:

  1. Reese’s Cups
  2. Skittles
  3. M&M’s
  4. Starburst
  5. Hot Tamales
  6. Sour Patch Kids
  7. Hershey’s Kisses
  8. Snickers
  9. Tootsie Pops
  10. Candy Corn

In addition, the shop polled 15,000 customers on their least favorite candy. Circus Peanuts took first place:

The statistics also revealed that Jolly Ranchers and Reese’s Cups were the second and third most preferred Halloween candies in Georgia, respectively.
